Welcome Guide

I'm so excited to share with you a little of what I do and who I am. In no particular order I’m a wedding and weightlifting photographer, mom, and wife. I’m mostly known for my photojournalistic approach to documenting weddings in addition to the images I've created for the sport of weightlifting. I love connecting with people through the work I do, and I live for stories to share with the world! When I am not photographing weddings, I am traveling to places like Germany and Central Asia to photograph Olympic weightlifting (who even am I?). In between traveling and editing photos, I spend my days with my family and my crazy dog, Kanzi. -Viviana-

Your Story

The images are uniquely created to who you are as a couple. Your story begins with the planning of your engagement session. It’s a chance to capture moments that tell your story, embrace individuality, and illustrate the love you share. Think of it as practice for your wedding day. Expect to hang out, share stories, and laugh a lot! After the session, I’m always open to any feedback you may have in case we need to change anything for the wedding day portraits. Sometimes couples prefer less kissing photos, sometimes the sessions lead people to finding their “goodside,” whatever the case may be. Wedding day photos goes so much quicker and smoother if we’re all comfortable and if we know what to expect of each other.

Photography Style

Spontaneity, enthusiasm, and lust for life is incorporated in every session I cover. With my name that literally means lively, how could I not? My work invites you in, wraps you in a big hug, and tells you it’s more than OK to have a great time. It doesn’t feel like you’ve seen it before, and it doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. All my work is built on true human connection. The images are created to who you are as a couple.

Photojournalism, documentary, or reportage wedding photography are all labels that most accurately describe my style. Documenting key moments is how I approach events, and I believe that all images are created equal. When you look back at your images I want you to remember what you were feeling, rather than what you had been told to do. When formal portraits are requested, feelings are genuine, and the approach to posing is subtle and not the focus of your day.

Microwedding

A forever favorite of mine are micro weddings and they have been popping up more and more. They are here to stay and couples have been so creative in their preparations for it. Love how unique each one has been!

For smaller, intimate weddings, (less than 20 guest), the price is a flat fee of $1400 for 4 hours. You and your fiancé will receive all edited high resolution images, an online album and a $50 print credit.

How do we reserve our wedding date?

Contact me and let me know your date and location. If for some reason I am booked, I will refer you to some amazing photographers in the area! If I'm still available on your wedding date, we can meet or talk on the phone/FaceTime/Skype to discuss the details. If you want to move forward in hiring me to photograph your wedding, I require a 20% retainer and a signed contract.

What is a Client Portal?

Once you are officially official (yay!), I'll create a client portal for you where all of your documents, emails, and invoices are kept. It's an excellent organizational tool!

Will you keep in contact?

I am here for you guys. You will receive gifts, virtual hugs, texts and emails during our time together. Getting married is the most memorable time in a couple’s life. Your images will be shown to your children, and relatives for years to come. It’s important for me, as your photographer, to remain in close contact. Even if you just need a break from planning and would like to grab a bite to eat!

What is your turnaround time?

I'm as excited to work on your photographs as you are to see them! You will receive at least one sneak peek the day after your wedding day. Depending on the season, it could be anywhere between 4-6 weeks. All editing is done by me and it’s not our sourced. I go through every single image with care since each are edited.

Do you make wedding albums and prints?

Yes! They are my joy to create and order for you!

Can we be friends?

Yes! Let us meet up soon for lunch, brunch or even a workout!
