bride holding grooms hand while walking away

Ugly website, beautiful photos. ha! Thank you for stopping by. I’m in the middle of a busy wedding season and updating my website has been put on pause. But in the mean time, explore, ask questions and talk to you soon!

Are you a wedding photographer?

Short answer: Yes, but a bit more than that.

You're probably thinking- well, duh, Viviana! But for, folks who stumble across my website may not know about the work I do. A weightlifting photographer who also photographs weddings AND boudoir? We've been made to believe that artists can only create if they stay in their lane—restrictions and creating do not and should not go hand in hand- ever.

How did I even get here?

Photography and creating have been part of me since I could walk. Always with a pencil in hand and big glasses, I loved painting, drawing, and anything with creating. I grew up, received a bachelor's and master's in education, and taught for 13 years.

After leaving my teaching career, I became a full-time weightlifting photographer. A company picked up my work and I strictly focused on weightlifting events. Weightlifting has taken me to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, Germany, and across the country. But then something happened, weightlifters started getting married. The rest is history.

Body Inclusivity

In 2020- when we all had a lot of time on our hands, I took the time to catch up on some learning. Several courses I took focused on body inclusion and 101 to mitigating harm. It was at that moment I realized it was time to implement some changes and create a place where body inclusion is practiced.

So here I am.

Challenging beauty standards, incorporating boudoir work when I can, showing and celebrating diverse bodies. Yes, in weddings too!
